can someone please tell me if my rear pads have brake sensors?

My warning light went off last night telling me to 'cheak brake pads'

i assumed it was on about my rear pads as they are getting pretty low but when iv gone to buy some new ones they dont have the little cable attached to them?

plus my rears has got pretty low so thats what is leading me to believe it is on about my fronts as they have about 6-7mm left on them and i know vag's like to warn you about stuff early

Fronts only with the wired sensor I believe.

You sure the fronts are OK? particularly the inside pad which is harder to see (&is often the pad that has the wire in)

Failing that it could be a broken/corroded sensor wire that has put the warning on.
