    In need of some devine intervension on this one.!
    My 1.4 AEX polo runs just about fine,apart from this anoying flat spot.
    She doesn`t want for much,got a full service history and my TLC,and covered 95k but i`m interested to hear of any problematic isues.

    I suggest you start with a fault code read.

    Lambda sensor? - try unplugging it and see if it gets better or worse

    If you do that and then he has a fault code read done, how the hell is the mechanic supposed to know if the lambda sensor fault code generated by unplugging it is real or induced? Sorry, but that is crap advice! You should NEVER EVER unplug ANY component without having a fault code read carried out first and with the ability to clear the fault code you generate after, otherwise fault code interpretation is seriously buggered up.
