    Morning,

    Driving to work this morning, and noticed that the trip computer was blank, on restarting the engine, the trip computer came back on, but now shows I have 2000miles to go. I have of course stopped the car and re-started - but it refuses to change - any ideas - 2003 Passat TDI 130 Sport

    Press the (reset?) button under the stalk once to switch to the short-term trip option.

    tried that, no change, but after some time, it has changed back to something around normal, was odd driving along with the miles to go >1000!
