    I noticed under the bonnet today a clicking valve. It's the carbon canister solenoid valve what does it do and why was it clicking so much i disconnected it and plugged it back in again and it seems ok.

    Dont know the tech behind why but can re assure you, they all do it and quite loudly. Black box on left hand side ?

    Read the haynes manual apparently theres a cabon tank that soaks up the fuel vapour from the tank when parked and the valve releases it back into the intake system don't think it's anythng to worry about.
