    Default Upgrade 2005 Fox with central locking? – 02-10-2010,07:17 PM
    Hi,
    Anyone got an idea on what is needed to upgrade the 2005 Fox with central locking?

    Is there any easy on doing it the 'original way'. I havent ripped the car apart yet, so i dont if the the car has been prepared to it (e.g. the wires are in place).

    I could by a knock of kitt for about 50£, but the ones i have seen does'nt include the boot lock.

    There is no pre wiring whatsoever.

    The door locks on car with central locking are different as it the boot lock and I think you would have the best results if you were to find a system out of a scrapped car but it is quite complex and difficult to install. I don’t think an after market system would work.
