After some advice please.

Morning all,

Breif intro, I joined this forum 18 months ago as my Father -in-Law had just purchased a used 3dr Mk5 Golf 1.4 FSI. Needless to say it hasn't missed a beat since then!!

Last week the Engine Management warning light came on with a reduction in power and increase in fuel consumption. I believe it has gone into 'limp home' mode.

I'm wondering if anyone can give me some advice please on some fault codes which have been downloaded by a local independant.

I don't have any code numbers, just a title and a status:

Camshaft position sensor ATT
Cylinder 1 Knock control, adjustment limit reached MEM
Cylinder 2 Knock control, adjustment level reached MEM
Cylinder 3 Knock control, adjustment level reached MEM
Cylinder 4 Knock control, adjustment level reached MEM
Intake air temperature sensor 2 MEM
Linear Lambda sensor, exhaust gas bank 1/pump current
balancing line-interruption ATT

Can anyone advise which component/s to test/change and in what order? I'm a capable home mechanic so changing/testing components isn't a problem.
