Competitions!

The idea of introducing competitions is currently being discussed. This will be alongside the integration of the planned detailing sub forum which should encourage healthy discussion.

there are a few suggested competitions, so as always i would invite you all to comment and post any suggestions you have. we are also contemplating the idea of small prizes to start with, hopefully building up as we gain more interest and more support.

please guys and gals, can we keep the criticism and feedback constructive i dont think anyone on here wants to put this forum or any ideas like this on a downer.

a few of the ideas so far :

best detail of the month
most tastefully modified car(contentious, but can encourage healthy debate)
cleanest wheels
best kept interior
best 'night shot'
best 'scenery' shot

Carl, just a thought.. if we can get the photo plugin installed in the gallary, we can have a system of rating the photos you view so we have an-overall rating..

Then what could be set up is a section which Called "Photo of the month". Within there, a thread for each month where users have to upload their pictures into the current month thread to enter competion, (Using a photo storage site.. ie Photo Bucket.)

Then the voting can begin!

us 'Mancunians' have the various industrial sites, which we all know can be just as good as a tranquil scenery shot

they can be touched up, agreed, but the raw material of the picture would have to be a high enough level to enable this....

does give rise to another idea... best photoshopper.

It was a joke, hence the smilie. You and I discussed these ideas a while ago, it's nice to see them getting some forum time now.

Constant replying should keep them in people's eyes too.
