Can anyone out there help me with the electrical problem i have with my car. I have a serious drain on my battery that is so severe that it means i have to start my car off a booster pack nearly every morning! It has been in the garage a number of times and they have all put it on there diognostis equipment and found no drain! There answer is that its the battery which i know that its not! The alternator is fine as the car always starts after i have done a reasonable journey in the car. It is not the stereo as its been to a couple of car audio garages now and they have both found nothing wrong with the installation. I have also checked all the earths on the car and none of them are broken or damaged in anyway.

There is also one more strange occurance that happens, there has been two cases where the windows have automaticaly wound themselfs down in the night and last week they came down when i opened the car using the central locking!

Any advice would be very much appreciated as i dont want to sell my car but im finding it increasingly difficult to live with now!!!

Battery Drain; Is there a hands free phone kit fitted?

Central Door locking: Is probably being caused by a faulty drivers door lock. As you know The windows will go down if you keep the car open button pressed on your key likewise they will close if you keep the door lock button pressed. These features are wired back through the lock in the drivers door which sometimes give problems. Hope this helps!
