    Morning All

I've been looking for a new 170 Q Avant, they appear to be like hen's teeth unless you do factory order for next year. However a dealer I have been talking to has come up with 2 options which are available.

One does not have AMI which I really need/want, I have heard rumours that this can be fitted afterwards...... any suggestions???

    Thanks in adavnce

    Ham

It's one of the few retrofits that your dealer should be happy to do.

RE: sourcing 170 - I know what you mean, I struggled to find the 2.0tfsi from main dealers before, seems the 143 is the popular (& only) choice for most...also ended up getting better deal on new from factory via 3rd party sourcing from the same dealership!?

Anyway, re: AMI, yes, I believe this can be retro fitted, but you will be looking at more money from specialists, etc. A local specialist advertise circa £500 for this as I remember.

Not 100% sure on your question, but if both cars are allocated for delivery this year (without the 20% VAT!) and not finalised on the production sheet, then I would definately go for it as an option - even though it looks like a cd changer in the glove box just to hook up the old iPod!!!
