Golf comparison

I see that Ford have a 2.0 diesel focus with a dual clutch semi auto. I've had a Golf DSG 2.0 Tdi for my last two cars. As its getting towards time to swap I've been looking around but still feel inclined towards another golf. Just out of interest though, has anyone tried out a ford. Any impressions? All I can see is that their auto system costs a bit less but isn't as good on performance, albeit marginally.

TBH ive driven afew focus's and i think the golf is head and shoulders above it, best thing to do is take one on a test drive and see what you think bud, some might like it others might not
