Fix it or who wants it

Hi all,I have just joined and i'm looking for some general feed back.Firstly i have a Audi auto A4 2.8 Quattro and i love it or did.
A couple of years ago under the driver seat flooded making my suzy go into limp mode,got it sorted great.
the last couple of months the same thing has happened except no flooding and have now been told i need a new gear box and its only done 117000miles
If i am going to fix it.It will cost some serous notes
Or is their someone out there who would want to take suzi of my hands

colour is dark green and other than the gearbox and a respray the car is ok

How much ? and have you any pictures? spec? ie leather air con? year?

Going back to you'r original problem, the ecu for the gearbox if auto lives under the carpet in the footwell, could this be changed or dryed out to sort it out?

I have had this done,We then thought about gearbox oil change,but speaking to someone who works on gearboxes he recommended a gearbox change
