How long does the car take to deliver from specified build week

Hello,

My new CC was supposed to be built this week. I called my VW dealer today and they told me that there is still no info that it was completed, but also nothing that it was delayed. They also said that it already has the vehicle ID number and engine number. Does anyone know at what stage of production those numbers are assigned?

The 12 way electric seat option allows you to program the exterior mirror position in conjunction with the memory seats,soon gave up on trying to sort that out.

Scooby - did you just go for the normal 12 way electric seats and not the climate seats - and if so, are they heated? There was some doubt about whether the 12 way seats option included the heaters.

Hi everybody!

I`m new to this site, and want to tell that 2 weeks ago i orded me a new beautifull car, Passat CC R-Line, 2.0 TDI 170hp DSG 4MOTION BMT.

Was told the build week "should" be 24, and that i should get the car in june.
Realy looking forward to get this car to drive, and get amused by people turning their head when passing them.

The car is deep black pearl metallic, with the interior in Cornsilk beige/black.
Here are some of the equipment I ordered with it:

- Tinted windows
- Alarm
- Parking assistance rear view camera
- Lane Assist
- Adaptive cruise control
- El. towbar
- Sunroof
- Parking heater
- Keyless access
- RNS 510 Dynaudio 600W
- Bi-Exenon adaptive light
- 12-way adj. seat
- + + +

Since last time (end of mars), i have changed the color of the car to Light Brown.
The name of the color do not tell the real look of the car.
And being told from the dealer the building week to be 24 when i bought it, that has now changed to week 33 for production of the car.
But anyway i really looking forward to get this beautiful CC R-Line.

Speaking of the waiting time for a new CC I must say that I was really shocked how fast mine was delivered, but I'm from Poland. I ordered it around 10th of March and it came to my dealer already 29th of April. I had to wait a few more days for all papers to be delivered (we had a holiday). Wonder why it takes so long for UK?

The frustration continues.

Car was built about 3 weeks ago - and is now in the country but..............

As the spec has changed (bluetotth etc that happened in October!) there is a problem with the finance documentation and the car has to be price matched. Seemingly this is a problem affecting thousands of VW customers.

Lease company dont even want to guess when it may be fixed as seemingly on;ly one gy at VW is sorting it out.

This is driving me nuts! anyone else having the same issue?

We are in exactly the same position. Was hoping for them this week but apparently there are 2000 vehicles that need manually changing. Our cars are sat at the dealers but we cannot get them, grrrrrrr!!!

I am gussing your car is in Cheltanham VW and being bought through a nationwide leasing company?

Think i will give VW customer services a prod tomorrow and see if i can get them moving nay faster!
