How long does the car take to deliver from specified build week

The lease co have said they need to send my details to VW - i think its the dealer though, as when i talked to VW CS they told me that the hire cars are a matter for the dealer to sort out.

Yeah thats what VW CS told me. Although the dealers are being total W@nker$!
I tried to phone them yesterday, they wouldn't speak to me as the lease company placed the order, not me!
The Dealership is Dane Motor company of Chester. So if anyone has any contacts in the fleet dept or any incriminating photos of the dealer principle in an awkward position it would be much appreciated!

This lot are really starting to **** me off.

Desite being told several times (including in conversation with VW CS) that my order was accepted in October, when the build week was generated it 'mysteriously' changed to 4th february on theor system.

VW are now refusing to give a lease car as this is what the system is telling them, despite the fact that they told my lease compaby about the lease car before the 4th feb!!!

NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN I TELL YOU - and i will be telling anyone i know about this experience with VWAG.

I've had my lease car (Insignia SRI) since the first week of the year, got an email yesterday with a delivery date of the 4/4.

It needs to get to dealership then will be registered first week march for collection.

Ordered 2nd week of October so god knows how it's gone so quick

Your one lucky person .... I'm still awaiting confirmation on build date but it's 'ESTIMATED' as being end of March. I still dont believe it will actually be built then tho ...

It would appear that VW are being well crafty these days. Its looks like you only get a Support car once you have a "Confirmed" build week. It looks like most cars are actually now being built without the so called confirmed week but are being built by the estimated week. This way they dont have to give any cars out.

Just one more reason to add to the long list of reasons never to buy from VAG again.

Johnny, I still don't have a build week but have been given a lease car to use until my car arrives. I would point out that I did escalate my complaint to the head of vw UK, which seemed to speed the responses to my complaints, but haven't helped with getting my car built any quicker.

I'm still waiting on a call for confirmation of build Week 12. I said to VWCS in no uncertain terms that if no confirmed build week is issued by the end of this week then I will cancel the order & go elswhere.

I just remembered that you ordered a pearl black one, same as me. I think we may have twins
