How long does the car take to deliver from specified build week

Ordered in mid July and was told prior to Christmas car was a week 2 buikd, however, phone call today saying it was arriving in the country today.

GT 170 Tdi manual, moonlight blue, park assist, ADC, Lane assist, Xenons, Chicago wheels, climate seats, mdi, ambient light pack, rear sunblind and digital tyre pressure monitor.

Had confirmation email today from the dealer and leasing company both saying confirmed build date 17th January , although have to add it's not a gt just a standard cc in candy white and no upgrades whatsoever, mustnt grumble though I'm sure will still look the biz..........

please post a few pictures of yours when it arrives, mine is moonlight blue with ambient lights minus a few of the other options you specified, haven't been able to find many pics of moonlight blue ones....

Will do, I work away during the week and I doubt it will be ready for Saturday sso probably a fortnight tilll I pick it up.

My Mundano has been dropped off by europcar. 16 weeks to the day after dealer got order (Sep 8). So don't take any of this date factory accepted the order (1 Oct for me) for loan car.

CC should be with my dealer this coming week with any luck.

I think i am going to blow a gasket!

Just had a mail saying the new estimate for delivery to the dealer is 31st March (another 4 weeks later than last one) - this is only an estimate as well - still no confirmed Build date.

Also - i have been chasing on the hire car subject and have had no word on it at all.

This is for a car ordered at end of Auguston the basis that delivery would be mid November.

now, wheres that lease Co phone number.............

This is for a car ordered at end of August.

That is very strange! I ordered mine at the end of August too, except I'm collecting mine from the dealer this Friday. No concellation I know but I do feel for you.

Glad to see that someone is actually getting a car - and theres some hope that i will eventually get one. ;-)

Theres a passatt forum (passatworld?) where i was reading some persons theory that VW have almost thrown the towel in and if you dont have a conformed build date you wont be seeing your car. Something about an offer of a specced up passatt. I know these things fly round forums, but you cant help but wonder with the way things are going.

anyway - post pics of the car so we can see one for real!

VWparly ... I feel your pain ... I'm very much in the same boat.

I have to say tho, I went down to my local VW dealership at the weekend and they had two spanking new (2011 spec) Passat CC's on the forecort waiting to be collected so they are coming through, just somewhat slowly. I suspect with the introduction of the changd spec, there have been some teething problems that needed to be overcome .... hopefully they will start churning them out a bit faster now.
