    Hi all, new to this forum but glad i found it..what question i have 4 you is i have a passat b6 which i bought last week and i have purchased a vcds hex+can ross-tech system im just wondering how i can get the drl's on and any other little mods that are easy to do, i would apreshiate any help as i am new to the ross-tech vcds software thanks...

    thanks for you help... but im not that sure about it might take a long time to get used to it can i damage the car if i do someit wrong, dont suppose you know where theses a video that shows me in a bit more detail so im less likley to go wrong thanks mate

    If you search the web you will find plenty of people explaining what they did and giving screen shots. You can damage a control unit and the car if you change something that shouldn't be touched. This is unlikely as long as you follow the guides on ross-tech site.
    If you start with data logging you are not making changes so can't do any harm. I am collecting B6 logs on the B6 forum. See the top sticky post.

    thanks have tryed lookin on the net but can not find much.. i have a new problem now hope i can fix it or its back to the dealers

    no i didnt sorry but the good news is i been messin around and its gone now but ill have to learn how to keep a record of the codeing for future... thanks

    ALWAYS write down the original coding or take a screen shot. That way you have something to go back to. Good luck.
