    Hi

Looking for a car with the following spec: S-Line avant, 3.0lt TDi, quattro, auto, grey or black (maybe silver), black interior NO wood(!), max 70k miles, must have MMI high / DVD sat nav & Bose, budget up to £15k, ideally within 200 miles of Norwich.

    Thanks.

This is the closest I could find on AutoTrader/eBay. Link However it is 2005 and 65,000 miles but it has all the features you want.

None on eBay nor Audi's own website. I'll keep an eye out!

I've actually yet to drive one, but I am quite concerned about the loss of ride comfort compared to my current '03 Passat 130 Sport. Is Le Mans ride even firmer than S-Line? Absolutely love the look of Le Mans A6's, but just don't think I could live with those elastic band tyres! Oh, and SE's just look a bit too bland....

    Hi

I've just been through this exact same scenario earlier this year, looking for the same age and spec only difference was I wanted a 2.7 2wd.
I wouldnt worry about the ride quality, they are firm but not overly so but this is all down to personal opinion so the best bet is to go and test drive one.
I was looking for almost 3 months and never found the right car at the right price and spec. In the end I had to compromise and I ended up buying an 08 Le Mans with 75,000 miles on it! More miles than I wanted and only has MMI basic plus but the car was also 2 years younger than what I was looking for and a LE Mans.
I dont think the ride is any firmer than a standard s-line so I wouldnt worry about that and for a big car it handle's brilliantly!!
Also even having done 75k miles the car drives like new, no rattles or squeeks and everything feels tight.
Happy car hunting and I hope you get what you are looking for but dont rule out a Le Mans.

Thats what put me off the 3ltr's too! That and the extra running costs for fuel and tyres.
Having said that Im sure the manual 3ltr's fall into the lower tax bracket (£240) its the tiptronics that are in the higher group. Manual 3ltr's are like hen's teeth though!
