Mk V Creaking noise from front

Hi there everyone - I have recently purchased a VW Golf V GT TDI (55 Reg, 12K mls), which I have absolutely no compaliants, other than the niggle described below.

The problemette is a creaking noise is apparent from the front when parking up (ie. slow movement, low revs) - not sure if fron steering ....possibly a bush or something ??..

I suspect I'm not the only one to experience this phenomenon, and was wondering is anyone out there could offer me the benefit of their experience before I visit the dealers for warranty repair ...(the idea is to cure the problem, not make it worse !).

I have a MK4 Golf. My experience is i had a simular problem and it was the front bushes. I just recently had them changed and now i dont get that noise!

However before i had them changed i was getting that same noise and a mechanic put some lubrication oil on them and it stopped the problem for a while but then needed to get them changed as mine is a much higher mileage compared to yours.

My 05 TDI does exactly the same and has done from new! I guess it's one of those things.

It's been to the dealers, who say all is well.

Hi ive got a golf mk4 and mine use to creak from the front i found it to be the anti role bar bushes on the sub frame i just oiled them and the creaking went away.
