    I have an 02 Audi A4 TDI130 (B6)

Currently the car has 195/65R15 tyres fitted all round (Dunlop SP fastresponse)

I need new tyres so looked up online. If I input my reg number to find tyres I get two size options for my car:

    205/60W15 and 215/55W16

However the 15" size doesn't match what is fitted on the car

Do I have the wrong size tyres on the car or are the results for my model wrong??

    Thanks for the reply.

In the door there is a list of sizes (maybe 6 or so) with the tyre pressure settings for each size. Can I use any of these?

Is there a 'best' tyre size?

You've got 15 inch rims on now so unless you want to change rims its a 15 inch tyre,it depends on whether you want looks or economy, the 195 -65-15 is basically the bog standard tyre for the A4 probably giving the best MPG,whereas the wider profiles 205 or 225 give you more tread in contact with the road, I've got 195 65 15 on the front and 205 60 15 on the back(for towing)and there almost identicle to the eye.If your after street cred then you will need to change rims for a bigger diameter eg 16 or 17 inch.

Cheers for the reply. I'm not after 'street cred' lol. I'll just keep with the 195/65/15 and ignore what the website reg checkers suggest.
