Radio unlock code

Hi all,
I was led to believe that an Audi dealer would give me the code to unlock my concert stereo free of charge. I have removed the head unit as I have fitted RNS-E and intend to sell but I don't have the code. The service department at Audi said that because I am not the original owner, it will cost me £45 for them to give me the code, I thought this was a bit steep and am hoping for some advice as to whether this is correct....

Hi,this is not a recommendation but you could try DND Services who seem to offer an online service.

iwas in audi tis week for the code for my symphony stereo i got charged 25 quid plus VAT

Oh right, I don't know if it is because the stereo is out already or not. He said I had to take in loads of I.D. pet certificate and blood sample, but bottom line was £45

cheers mate, 25 quid on that site, a bit easier to stomach. Will get it sent off next week.
