I was given Tyre Dandy by Autosmart.
Pleasantly surprised and even though the results are good the ease of the job is absolutely the' number 1' feature.
Not one for wanting to put the work in, I just sprayed the foam onto the tyres after washing the car and left it. I think if your tyre walls are extremely dirty you may need to wipe down the wheels after from the susequent drips but it's loose so a wipe would do.

The result is a shiny wet look that becomes satin eventually. My tyres were a dingy brown before starting and finished deep black. Lasts 3 to 4 weeks.
About a fiver for the aerosol can and apparently does 20 to 30 tyres so you'd be unlucky to spend more than £5 a year then.

Anything easier, cheaper and longer lasting out there?

I use autobrite tyre gel, which gives a nice finish, a little goes a long way and it lasts well (got about 3 weeks out of it now, despite the rain...)
