Help. My Audi has been stood for a couple of days, just gone to drive it and am suddenly having problems when pulling away. The engine idles ok, but when you press the accelorator there is very little power. You have to give the accelorator a kick (quick hard press) and the power picks up.

This has also happened when changing from 2nd to 3rd gear.

I ran a scan using sykes but it didn't come up with any codes.

Any ideas what is causing the problem.

eh, the 1.8se has no turbo.
the dealership checked the mass air flow meter and it was fine and the intake pipes
they said it needs to warm up before running properly.
    what a load of bo!!!!!!!!!s
problem still occuring.guess dealership never even looked at it.
Problems only started occurring after timing belt was changed
this has been happening since i bought off them
