    Hi

iv been having repeated problems with alarm going off, windows rolling down by themselves, and interior lights staying on and have just pulled back the rubber boot inside the drivers door hinge area to find several badly frayed and one or two completly split wires.

What is the best way to fix this? DIY job with tape or new loom? If new loom how easy is it to get in and replace?

    Thanks

DIY, solder in wires slightly longer than the pieces you cut out, that should stop the fraying happening again

Yeah i would give that a shot but space is so limited once you have pulled the rubber sleave back.
is that the only solution? how easy is it to remove the loom to repair it? anybody know?
