    Hi all,

I (think) I have solved a rattle/vibration from the passenger side rear facing air vent on my dashboard. However, to do this I had to remove the chrome (plastic) and wood trim from the dashboard face. Unfortunately, when re-installing one of the very flimsy clips on the back of the chrome surround snapped off. The result is that the chrome surround doesn't sit nice and flush with the dash, and all though only minor, the issue really does bug me.

The chrome surround cannot be purchased separately and Audi want £100 for the grey birch insert and accompanying surround, which I think is a bit steep.

So, just posting on the off chance that someone knows where I might get this part cheaper or that someone has such a part they would like to sell.

Pic attached showing chrome surround and where the clip has bust.
