    Default Boot lock – 23-08-2010,12:33 PM
    The other day i noticed my boot wasn't locking with the remote. Think It's the soloniod but the cylinder wont turn with the key either i Haven't had a look yet just wondered if anyone had similar problem. Have to sort it because i can't lock it.

    I had this problem about a year ago and wrote a thread on it on this site . It seems thtere was a fault with the bootlid lock which had to be changed took about 25 mins. When I visited VW in Stourbridege for the part they had stocked up as it was a known problem. Hope this helps.
