    Default engine noise – 20-08-2010,09:45 PM
    07 passat 1.9 se tdi...when driving in gear their is a slight rattle from the engine...well i think its the engine...but when out of gear...idling, no rattle......anyone got any ideas...clutch, flywheel, maybe, not to sure........cheers

    DMF/flywheel usually rattles more at idle.

    Rogue spanner, have you been tinkering lately?

    Could be the engine cover, take it off and see if it goes.
