    Hi,

After having owned a mk2, a mk3 and 4 mk4's, I'm looking at buying my Dad's mk5 off him. It's a 2006 1.9 tdi, and looks like 'S' trim. However, on the data label in the boot it shows 'Trend' Can anyone shed any light on what a Trendline is?

It does look fairly basic though, not even alloys!!

It's what the S is called in Europe. There's also the Comfortline and the Highline too.

If it's got plastic wheels in the UK then it's an S.

The 1.9 TDI Golf 5 is really nice, my mum's just bought one. So much more refined than my Polo!

    Nice one guys, cheers.

I would've normally gone for the 140, this one is 105. It only has 30k on the clock and is mint so can't turn it down. Re-map on the cards.....
