My 95' 2.6 coupe is starting to creak & groan a bit, been thinking about renewing springs & dampers.
From a few posts on here i've noticed FK coming up, any others want to comment ?

I couldn't comment on FK other than they are the cheaper option for coilovers v's KW.
I think you won't go far wrong sticking with Boge Shock absorbers (OE supplier) The turbogas range may be an upgrade on what's in there now? Said to be not as harsh a ride as some brands eg koni/bilstein etc.
Springs only really need changing if broken or you want it lower/firmer ride. I would give it some thought as to how you want the car to drive, roller skate handling is not usually very comfortable and speed bumps become a nightmare.
Cars with the Sports suspension option (code for this is 1BE on the vehicle data sticker) are usually 20mm lower, this spec may be as much as you would want to go.
Other than that I would also consider using S2 front stuts which I think are an additional 20mm lower but also use a larger diameter shock absorber, so something of an upgrade but would not be bone jarring - rears being quattro not compatible unfortunately...

Do you have pt no for the S2 struts? Would they be a direct fit to Coupe (Non rs2? Other than bigger dampers reqd?)

    Found some numbers on ETKA
    Std coupe 8A0412033 Left
    std coupe 8A0412034 right

    RS2 ? 895412033F Left
    RS2? 895412034F Right

But also lists different numbers for the Hub too? I know the RS2 has 5 wheel studs, but are the hub bolts different?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes, S2 is 5 x 112 stud pattern, but you could use 2wd Audi 100 5x 112 hubs/discs to get the rears the same (on a 2wd coupe), if you wanted the 5 stud conversion. Other than that just use the 4 stud wheel bearing housing on the bottom of the S2 strut.
RS2 is quite different in the hub department, the setup was devised by Porsche with an unusual offset and 5 x 130 pcd pattern, Brembo monobock brakes etc.
You can use the RS2 caliper carriers with Brembo monoblocks and A8 314mm x 30mm discs on the 5 x 112 pattern

They are/were sister companies if not fully merged, can't say for sure that the shocks are identical, but both o.e. suppliers to VAG, I would use whichever is cheaper/available!
