A3 Low Prep phone Question...again?

Hello to all, We have an A3 S-Line, 2.0TDI Sports back 2009, on an 09 plate.
It came with the Low phone prep in the cerntre arm rest.
Would any body be able to tell me the best / most compatable phone to run on this system..i am looking at getting a cradle from my local dealership..we have to get a new phone anyway so no worries there...it will save my wife having to stop the car everytime i call..I`m sure this has been raised before, so if it has, please accept my appologies.

Don't bother with a cradle, Audi cradles are around 2yrs behind with compatable phones.
Just connect to the car via bluetooth.

Yes, I agree. I went through the idea of an Audi cradle but they are not only for out of date phones, they are also expensive.
Go down the bluetooth route as suggested.
The only drawback is you have to manually charge the phone with a charger.
I have a Nokia 5580 musicexpress which works without problem, if that helps.
