Make sure you practice on some old panels first. Be very careful near edges of panels.

Go for it rappy! Had my g220 over a year. You CAN'T burn the paint with it. I've used my hardest pad, and toughest cutting compound on the same spot for 30 seconds at full speed and it didn't burn! Watch the megs videos on YouTube. Great lessons and an easy way to learn!

Thanks G Black I know how to use one it was just in those days cutting compounds were aggressive and rotary pads were the same. Most cutting compounds are non abbrassive and different now compared to products then.

What do you use to detail the wheels? I would imagine by hand?. Just being lazy now!!!!

Detailing a ford fiesta ST next w end before and after pics to follow. Watch this space....................................

My wheels are like my children. They're of the car every 3months for a full scrub polish and wax. Then every year (yes every year) I get them fully refurbed!

Car gets buffed about April to last the summer and again about september to so it lasts the winter. I constantly top up the wax once every month with megs nxt and it gets QD every was.

Sounds like we are on the same wave length . Snow foam is a must as a pre wash its great!!!!!!!!!

I loved your bently wheels :approve its all about the detail.

My wheels are diamond cut and the paint is starting to bubble a little in places They will be getting re furbed next year. Wheels make or break a car .

    Hi Martin,

Around 10 yrs ago I use a rotary polisher and wrecked the paint

Since that time things have moved on and im a little older and wiser now . As this is a D/A it does not burn the paint like a rotary buffer and has far less cut.

Also products have moved on a bit since then. Don want to bore you with the details. Look at the link to paint correction/pad types/compounds etc... its technical stuff you know
