Reading through the "Wanted" section I saw a post looking for sport springs which reminded me:
I've got a feeling my car's been lowered by a previous owner, it has a real firm ride and seems to sit pretty low. I dont think its been lowered much, maybe just 20mm.
How would I find out for certain?!

If they are still there, check the labels on the springs and shocks.

If they are all rusty and all labels have been removed, messure the hight of the car.
    it should be about 1417mm.
It might be a bit lower depending on the weight in the car and taking in to account any droping cause of the age.

Top of the roof i think.
I'm not 100% sure. I took the numbers from parkers.co.uk.

Id find a A4 same or as close to yours as possible and park next to it. lol

    Ha, fair enough!

Well, a bloke at work has a B5 A4 saloon, and even parks next to mine sometimes! Its battered though, one corner is a different height to the oposite one, so I aint checking against his! I'll have to just have a drive around a few carparks sometime...! Haha!
