Bluetooth & IPhone 4

Hi

Have an A3 Tdi on order with bluetooth and also just bought an iPhone 4. Anyone got any experience with the A3 BT system and and iPhone 4 or even a 3Gs with iOS 4? Do all functions work as expected? The phone works OK in my S-Max but doesn't load the phonebook properly.

I have 3GS with OS4 which works OK with A3 BT - phone book loads fine and you can select numbers/names from the steering wheel as well as speaking numbers via voice control. However, the phone does occasionally lose connection and then re connect a few seconds later. No big deal but it's a bit annoying. Don't know whether this is an Audi issue or an iPhone issue, as I've never tried it with another phone.

i have iphone 4 and it connects fine, i dont get loss of connection either???

I have the same problem with my iphone 3GS (non OS4.. haven't gotten around to upgrading it). It drops the BT connection but not the phone call. Its a tad unnerving because if you're on a long important call you instantly think it has disconnected the call but it hasn't, just the BT. I have noticed it disconnects after it has been connected for a long period of time.

Only happens with my iphone, ALL other phones are unaffected so can only presume it is an iphone problem. Soon to be getting shot of it as its a hopeless functional phone. Fun phone yes but doesn't do serious. Going back to Nokia (N8) or trying out the new Android O/S.
