Latest Audi A6 MMI software

Hi Guys

Just a quick question for stelly..
did you get your new sat nav up-date CD disc's and if so where !! and did they work, and was it worth the hassle to up load them.

If all went well with it..

Plz drop me a line as i am in need of them same disc's also.
but have found they are like a croc of gold (a magical meth) that either no one wants me to have or they have never seen them surely they cant be that outta date yet !!

i would appreciate any help in finding these legends if any one other has a lead on them

Plus I've lost the battery meter.

If you can find a forum member nearby with VCDS, it's a quick and easy task to re-enable the battery meter.

I know, and I'll get around to it one day. But TBH, being able to select a display that says the battery is at 100% as usual, isn't really much of a loss!

Hi Guys i have a very unusual request,

I have been trying to find somewhere to purchase the 5570 MMI 2g low 2 Cd up-grade for sat nav for europe and ireland
but no luck yet... i have tried ebay but unless im completely looking for the wrong item i cant find it, nor can i find any audi dealers who have it or are willing to get it for me, yet a lot of people on here say its being sold for as little £10.00 where !!!

if any has them, could they send me an IM or email me please as i would like to pick their brains as to the benifits of upgrading or not

This is one for 20 pounds. I did mine with the engine running (would advise it as it takes upwards of an hour) was easy enough to do. iT DOESNT GIVE MUCH EXTRA FUNCTIONALITY OTHER THAN 3D VISION ON SATNAV AND ALTITUDE. It gives more bluetooth but I have the motorola phone and SIM installed on my A8 so want needed for me. Its cheap enough and for the bug fixes etc it was in my minds eyes worth it.

That would be great Alex, I have found the 2g High ones but not the low type

so if they are the ones you have i would really appreciate it if you could email me and then i could discuss how to go about getting them, i will pay you for them or i can donate some money to a charity for you if you want either some one will gain

Hope you don't mind me jumping in on this thread, been following it with regards to updating my mmi high (06 A6 2.7Tdi SE from version C6-HU 21.2.0 0534 to the current 5570 ). Managed to get the update disc set from my local audi dealer by quoting part number from link below

I enquired yeasterday and discs arrived this morning. I,ve installed updates as per the instructions but without looking to deeply have noticed no changes as yet, well, apart from the previously mentioned loss of battery meter. Does anyone now if this includes the 3d vision sat nav update, or is it just a general bug fix.

Problem solved, just had to select 3d map view in nav setup, Ooops

I had it installed by the local dealer (because I wanted certain things enabled that I now can be turned off by the upgrade), and the main thing it fixed for me was getting my contacts (via bluetooth) from my blackberry 8900 curve.

Btw, I also purchased the latest maps and that enables the TMC functionality (not sure its worth the 200squid audi charge though)...
