Hi im looking to change the normal bulbs from my 2001 vw bora to a HID xenons.

I have looked on ebay and seen a couple of kits which are from China / Hong Kong.

I have seen some kits at local car shops and the ones on ebay seem the same as them ones but the shops want arouns £120ish and on ebay they are alot cheaper.

I think the size of mine are H4 can someone help me to find which ones are best for my car and no too expensive.

Also will i need anything else????

    Here is my ebay search

Bi-xenons move to full beam. Xenons are just. Main beam and full is done with standard lamps. Also tell the insurance as some do not like them.

Off the top of my head, I believe the Bora requires a H4 bi-Xenon kit. Please double check this and I will do the same. You can look in your user manual or have a look at the headlights themselves. Bi xenon means that the bulb (in this case the aftermarket xenon) will be used for both low and high beam. (Most cars have a separate low and high beam bulb.) The mechanism required to allow this dual function means Bi-xenon kits are more expensive than regular hid kits. Cheap kits can lead to expensive future problems.. then again high prices don't guarantee quality. When considering value for money, consider the kits compatibly features, the seller (customer support, warranty, guarantee), and the kits country of origin can be an indicator of quality control.
www.hidorigin.com has H4 bi xenon kits in colour temperatures 4300k, 5000k and 6000k. HIDorigins Blesk kit are made in either S.Korea or Japan. They sell better than my Hella/Philips, Valeo or Denso kits (best used as OEM replacement parts) as Blesk kits offer greater compatibility (as well as quality). The kit is error free meaning that once fitted it will be compatible with your cars electronics and not cause error warnings. Feel free to contact me with further questions.
    Good luck
