MMI update

I have just updated the MMI and it went easily although the instructions might have been clearer. I have a couple of questions, what does it alter as the car feels taughter in the steering and also tighter in handling. Am I imagining things? The second disc would not update anything and just said I didnt have it (Bluetooth) installed. I have the built in unit with the motorola telephone, is this correct or do I need to do something specific to get this updated like have the phone pin code installed and the system running? I would advise having the engin e running for the update as it took forever to do the first disc.

the update covers M O S T control units for mmi and the phone disc 1 and 2 are pr code specfic (hfp and sap phone control units).
It does not alter the steering or air suspension
