    Hello there, just purchased a 2004 A8... can some one please tell me where i can get hold of sat nav discs... im looking for something quiet up to date, preferably so that it has Eastern Europe on the map, Poland specifically... total noob at this so i have no idea what im doing here :S do i need to take it to the dealer or can i do the update myself??? thanks in advance Sebastian

    Get them from Ebay or your Audi dealer, or download a 'backup' copy.

    cheers mate... one more question... do you know if simply update the sat nav give me the MMI update itself, with the 3D maps etc?

    No, your questions were about a map update. Putting a updated map DVD in will not update the MMI system firmware it will only update the map data. You need a seperate disc for a firmware update. You can buy them from your dealer (under £10) or Ebay and other places.
