Hi there could someone please tell me where the pollen filter is located on a 2004 A3.
I have a smelly aircon, have tried cleanse + recharge but still the same.Maybe I should have tried a new filter first and saved some money

Is it not under the suttel panel? Think There might be two, one on each side.

No! It's doing my head in now.Thing is it's not a constant smell and (the missus says!?) is not that bad, like a sweet sickly smell. It occurs when you first start the car with aircon on and if you turn aircon off (econ) last for a couple of minutes.Really annoying me now

    Hi deebee,

Checking the dust/pollen filter. If it is damp or has an unpleasant smell, replace.

See below link on changing dust/pollen filters...

Treat the a/c with a antibacterial cleaner.Your local a/c workshop should be able to help or you may be able to do it your self.
