cabin pressure!!

hi guys!!
got a bit of a problem... i have a 'P' reg A4 tdi(red eye) and wen i drive the car my ears are starting to 'pop' and its not just me my wife has had the problem aswell.. wen siting in the car the engine sounds quite heavy aswell....
i did do 2 things to the car mind you .. i had a leak in the breather pipe and changed it and i changed the gasket( valve cover gasket rubber) and since i did these 2 things i have had this problem... can anyone help plz. as it is getting quite annoying now... .
oh yes 1 more thing i hav a leak in the middle of one of the hoses that leads to the steering rack .. any ideas as to how to repair it( like glue od tape) or should i get it replaced..

Get the pipe fixed. Take it somebody like hyphose they should be able to replace the flex bit keep your metal ends. The noise/pressure have you checked all the air intake pipes? Diesels do make a deep throaty sound if the air box has been removed

will get the pipe fixed from the p/s that is leaking. the airbox is still in.. the ear popping 'effect' has happened just now
