A4 Avant 2.0 TDi 170bhp Post Remap MPG???

Hi all,

Can anybody who has had the 2.0 TDi 170 remap done on there Avant tell me what average mpg they get now?

I know that as as standard the 170 returns about 42mpg on a good run but after the remap (170-205ish bhp, and increased torque) what can you expect then on a good run?

I'm not sure if many people have the 170 remapped??? The most common is the remap for the 140, which, in theory, gives increased BHP, torque and fuel economy.

With any remap, however, you've got to ask yourself what is actually happening to the all the engine parts that were originally desgined and tested to work and be controlled by the default ECU program??...
