    Hi all,

What temp should the engine fan come on? I have a 55 plate gt tdi, and the engine warms to 90 degrees and neither the big or small fan is spinning, even after long drives the engine doesnt exceed this temp, but should the fan be spinning anyway?

If it is a fault, does anyone know what this could be?

    Thanks

    Phew, thats good to hear!!!

On my last car toyota yaris (dont laugh!) after a 20min drive when the cars stopped (engine still running) the fan would kick in, but if its ok then thats great.

    Cheers mate

The fan does not come on until around 97 degree’s and the dash gauge is hopeless inaccurate, I see them read 90 at a true 72 and still read 90 at a true 117.
