    guys

thinking of changing my car after I've sorted the problems
does anyone have any idea what sort of consumption I can expect from a 3.0tdi with a manual gearbox in comparison to my 2.5 tdi with the multitronic

i barely get 30 from my 2.5 and it can be a tad boring around town although its amazing on the mways!¬

We have a manual and auto 2.5 and it is easy to obtain much more Mpg from the manual.A lot depends on how you drive but I think the auto revs a lot more and thus its impossible to get mpg well into the 40s that the manual gives.I think that ive heard that the 3.0 is comprable to the 2.5.Also it can help to fit a good tuning box
