    Hi

problem with DIS bulb failure warning. It reported rear right brake bulb gone this morning so I replaced this afternoon and once turned on ignition said that rear left fog bulb was gone now. Replaced it as well but DIS still says rear left fog bulb failed even though have checked and every bulb is working.

Have searched through forum without fsuccess so are there any known problems or earthing points I could check. It's a 2002 saloon.

Interesting thing, that. I had the rear break light warning come up, changed the bulb and the light went out. However, i stalled the car at a junction shortly after and whilst pressing the break peddle, restarted the vehicle and the warning light came up. restarted the car again after that and it went out.

Have you performed a diagnostic yet?

Is sorted now removed left hand rear fog bulb which was new and now all hunky dory. Only needs one on right hand side so left shouldn't have a bulb! (well so a mechanic I know told me). Don't see the point in having 2 if only 1 works

Although had another problem which turned out to be simple. Was a terrible screeching noise coming from front end when driving home from work Saturday, pound signs flashing before my eyes. Had brief check of brakes and all seemed fine and clutch was good so garage, nicely, took in on Saturday night for a look. Turns out 2 of the radiator slats were being "sawn" by the fanbelt as they were loose. Don't know if this is common occurence or not.
