Hi folks,

Got the chance to do a PC job on another silver TT. This one was 8-years old. The owner was persuaded to allow me to work on the paint to put a new glow on it before yesterday's Scottish TT Run to Galashiels.
I worked on the car over three evenings during the week and was pleased with the way things turned out.

The washing, cleaning and polishing were as per the previous TT's routine: Sonus + Meguiars pads, Menzerna 3.02 Polish. The car proved to be very rough indeed.

No wheel brightener needed as the wheels were only 3000 miles old. Cleansing and protection from JEFFS Ac. Prime and Jett.

The paint cleansing and protection was HD Cleanse and Carbon. There was no JEFFS Prime Acrylic or Trigger under the Carbon this time. The final spray again was Zymol Field Glaze, buffed with Poorboys DMTs.

The weather was variable but at the crucial photo times it was pouring, so no before and after pics outside.

Final Wash
Because some panels were done on the previous two visits, a final wash was in order. Chemical Guys Extreme Body Wash and Wax foamed through a Superspray - I think I got better suds with this, compared to the Super Snow Foam used before.

The Final Pics

The glow from the car was fantastic and the owner was fairly chuffed. It's now going to look like this for as long as it is taken care of. This has reawakened the owner's interest in looking into how to maintain the finish and look after the paint like never before.

Hope you enjoyed looking.

Thanks.
