  1. Asymmetric wear in rear tyres of A4 Quattro

Have been looking at an B7 Quattro and noticed that the wear on one of the rear tyres is almost bald on the outside edge the rest of the tyre well worn, the other tyre well worn all over. Whereas I would be prepared to renew the tyres is this an indication of a more important problem that I should get checked. Contemplating my first ever Audi so completely green.

It could be that the previous owner liked ripping round corners. If it was the front wheel I would say it was the tracking but I dont think rear wheels have this?

Both of my rears were shot on the outer edges. I put 4 new tyres on at the same time but found the rears shot before the fronts- car is only front wheel drive- had 4 wheel alignment done found rear should be 2 degrees out but mine were 5 out.
