Steering Noise

Hi, I have 2.0 FSI on a 55 plate with low millage.

I have a police siren noise at low speed when driving, is it the electric power steering motor going?

Any idea?

The noise was the oil pump,so new one fitted.

Sounds better.

Hi,you've got me concerned now,also got a 55 plate fsi,I have a similar noise,did you have any other symptoms and how much to get the pump done? How many miles you done? Having said that,I think my noise is only when on the move!

Hi,car still under warranty just. New pump and balancing shaft fitted ,cost parts £800 have not seen final invoice.

But I still have a noise, but not as loud.

Car has done 28000 miles.

It makes the noise on the move.
