Does anyone know where I can get a workshop manual that will cover the V5 series? I have a 2002 2.3l V5 VW Passat. The Haynes manuals don't cover this model and I was wondering if it is possible to get one somewhere. Do VW have something does anyone know?

    Cheers

    Chris

    HI Isaac,

Thanks for that information. It sounds expensive having had a quick look at google. I'll have a more proper look when I have time. I will need something as I am out in the sticks here in Wales and the local dealer is about 35miles away and charges stupid money!

    Cheers
    Chris

Many thanks for the PM Isaac. I am unable to reply to it as I haven't used my allocation of 10 posts yet but your help has been very much appreciated.

    Cheers

I tried downloading a manual but in it's compressed state my computer couldn't open it. Tried downloading a couple of different 'uncomppressors' but no luck. This is not as easy as it sounds.......still trying.

    HI PCDoctor,

No luck as yet. It's a .rar file. My current unzipper doesn't like it and other free ones I have tried aren't working either even though they were suggested on the microsoft site. I am beginning to wonder if I am going to have to pay to get an appropriate program even though that wasn't quite the idea.
