    Default Touran trailer brake lights not working? – 06-07-2010,11:40 AM
    Hi I have fitted the OEM towing control unit and OEM 7-pin wiring to my 2004 2.0 tdi. The dealer has coded the control module. With the trailer connected when I brake I get the warning light on the dash and no brake lights on the trailer? All the other lights work correctly on the car and trailer.
    I have checked the wiring from the brake light switch to the module 12v with the pedal depressed - fine, the trailer brake lights work fine on another vehicle, continuity checked the wiring from the control module to the socket pin6 fine.
    where do I go next?? any help greatly appreciated

    I have the 12s socket to fit next but I want to get this one working properly first.....
