    Hi guys,
This is my first post and was hoping to get a little advice on buying a Concert head unit for my late 2001 B6 A4 turbo (the valeters were a bit enthusiastic with the lcd display on the head unit!!). Looking through the forum here I have heard talk of single and double DIN's but did not understand. Can anyone enlighten me owe wise ones?! What specifications will I need to look for? What other Audi models have compatible concert head units?
    Much appreciated

Single DIN is a slim radio unit and you'd normally have a gap below the climate control unit, double DIN is a wide radio unit as seen on the indash 6-cd changer radio, the cassette & CD radio & the sat-nav radio units. You'd also not have a gap below the climate control unit.

thanks guys, after a bit of research I've figured out what "DIN's" refer to and am now a bit wiser (I think) when it comes to Audi head units.
Thanks for the offer Dub love but have managed to get a Spanker of a Concert II head unit off ebay and awaiting delivery.

I remember reading a couple of earlier threads about the tendency of Audi dash surface to come off with detergents...Do you know if there are any liquid plastics (like a black liquid latex or something) out there that could be applied to repair such scuffing. I was thinking of using a "flat black" paint designed for use on fire places (very matt finish pus very durable).

    What do you guys think?

Will try on small discrete spot and let ye know....
