Aircon/electric fan-supplier and fitting?

Hi,

Need one of these.I know gsf or europarts did one for the B5 for about £65 however terminals were 4 pin round and my 5.5(2001 130PdTDi) has square (D shape)2 pin connectors.Has anybody bought one of these and if so can you let us know the cheapest place to buy please.Europarts have told me they do not list on for this model and that it is dealer only at £232.

Also I know you could change old fan without need to remove bumper and rad as Haynes recommend however has anyone changed one in a 5.5 successfully without the need to remove these items.

Also is the new fan the same as the old and is the wiring the same except for the difference in the plugs.?

Anyone able to help please.

VW quoted £141plus VAT today-anyone know if old style from GSF is same bar different plugs yet,
