    Hi guys,

Recently had turbo changed (refurb) and cat has decided to collapes off the turbo while travelling into work!

I'll get a picture uploaded in a bit but basically where the catalytic converter meets with the turbo flange, it has come away

Apart from sounding like a tractor right now, is it ok to continue driving before Monday? Will I cause any damage to the turbo with basically half exposed exhaust to engine bay?

    Thanks,
    Chris.

New cat or a skilled welder after removal from the car, preferably TIG welded but MIG would be OK. The lambda would need to come out first and I would tack it into place before removal to guarantee alignment.

Pushed back in and tacked up yes, like that-no. Even then, the lambda will go lean and over fuel and the ECU will go into limp.
