I have a 1997 MK3 GOLF 1.6 GL (AFT). I was wondering what's the best way to clean out the breather pipe as I suspect mine is clogged up. Is it easy to remove from the car, and what do you use to clean out the gunge? I was thinking along the lines of WD40, but any better advice would be welcome.

    Thanks.

I use brake cleaner and then blow it out with compressed air.
